today’s lesson: blogs with tiny pictures are much less compelling.

case in point: Ilia Ovechkin‘s Red Disco Ball.

i ‘found’ it on today and tomorrow but he came across it on trendbeheer, which, frankly, has such a tiny center column i would have just scrolled on by.

Red Disco Ball is part of the the New Easy, that seems to be curated with many “i wish i’d done that!” pieces but also quite a few “this creeps me out in a good way?” videos.

also! scroll dooooooown on Ovechkin’s site. pretty cool. i’m growing quite the fascination with art that can essentially only exist on a personal computer. maybe i’m too obsessed with today and tomorrow, but it feels like animated gifs are making a comeback.

  1. Animated .gifs never left – I think you’re probably just getting geekier.
