i’ve been wearing this new Rimmel London colour “milk chocolate” almost non-stop the last two weeks. true, it is a drugstore brand, but Rimmel always lasts a good five days before chipping and has a brush that can compete with the haute lacquers.

the day after i bought it the oh-so-talented Sophy Robson posted about mixing foundation shades for the mannequin effect she did at the Louis Vuitton SS10 runway. um, i love this idea—and milk chocolate is just the right high gloss beige to blend in. “you remind me of a 1980s pantyhose ad,” J says. exactly.

Lionel puppy seems to like it too.

  1. Have you tried any of the colours in the new OPI line? I have been wearing “give me moor” for the past 6 weeeks and it lasts 14 days with no chips!

  2. Hello from Paris!

I was looking at this very colour a little while ago. I think it’s while i was looking for wedding polish. In fact, I think that’s the only reason I didn’t come home with it! Iinstead I got “creme brûlée” a sparkly rose-gold, and a different “milk chocolate” – that was more of a dark chocolate brown – both by Revlon. I’m a sucker for food related colours.
